For knives that are only slightly dull, you can initiate the sharpening process directly in the fine slot to polish the blade.
When sharpening scissors, ensure they are open. Place one side of the scissor blade on the middle groove and pull the blade straight back through the groove from the base to the tip in one single direction, repeating this action 5-8 times. Follow the same process for the other side blade, repeating the motion 5-8 times. This method ensures a thorough and effective sharpening for your scissors.
